Water and limestone are the great engineers of the Jura landscape, so why not give them a voice?
Germaine Grandperron, a geologist with a passion for her research, invites you to a recruitment session at Alexandre Brongniard University, a prestigious university specializing in the formation of the Jura mountains. With the help of her two co-workers: Splachou the water drop and Calqui the limestone lump, she takes you on a journey through different geological periods from the Jurassic to the present day.

👉 Cyanotype discovery workshop from 2:30 to 5:30 pm by L’Atelier des Epatants

Come and create with the sun and plants in the educational garden! L’Atelier des Epatants from Beaufort in the Jura will be running a workshop to discover cyanotype, a blue-background photography technique. Exposed to the sun, the special paper changes color and retains the imprint of the plants. Each little plant reveals its details and wonders! An opportunity to discover the garden around us, and create unique works of art as a family. Take your creations home with you!

👉 John the earthworm from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. by Compagnie Ciel de papier

What if, for the time of a story, you put on the skin of an earthworm in search of super-compost?
John the Earthworm is a kamishibai show in which you are the hero. During the adventure, you choose John’s accessories and his journey.

The fate of the little earthworm is in your hands! Will you succeed in bringing him to safe harbor, or rather, to good compost?

👉 Goûters Sauvages cooking workshop with CPIE Bresse Jura from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

Cooking workshops to prepare a simple recipe using a wild plant (example: acacia fritters; elderberry jam; plantain pesto…). Learn to recognize the plant used, followed by a cooking workshop (the plant would be harvested beforehand in sufficient quantities and in a natural location untouched by pollution).
