Lab’Bel Galerie Ephémère
In Paris, it is at 5 rue des Blancs Manteaux, in the heart of the vibrant Marais district, that you will find Lab’Bel Galerie, an ephemeral gallery entirely designed in the colors of the boxby Raquel Estrocio, Silvia Guerra and Inês Moreirawhere the entire artistic team and Lab’Bel mediators will welcome the public November 18 to 22 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm (evening events on Wednesday 18th and Saturday 21st until 9:00 pm). Sébastien Pluot’s film documenting the collaboration with The Laughing Cow® and Mel Bochner, will allow us to better understand this American figure of conceptual art and the originality of his approach.
Also on the program, the launch of the book on the 10 years of Lab’Bel.
An exhibition is planned for November 2021 at the Palais de Tokyo with all the artists who collaborated on the Collector’s Boxproject.
Lab’Bel – The smile in the Louvre collections
In parallel with the launch of the Collector’s Box in the “Lab’Bel Galerie Ephémère” in the Marais, three guided tours of the Louvre Museum will be offered to explore the historical and artistic framework of the smile in art, from Antiquity to the Mona Lisa. These tours will be led by Léo de Boisgisson, a tour guide, and proposed in reference to a remark by Mel Bochner who considers the Laughing Cow® to be the Pop art version of the Mona Lisa.
