Adapted VISITS

In order to address a cultural offer to the greatest number of people, it is important to consider the diversity and specific needs of all audiences. Thus, La Maison de la Vache qui rit offers a museographic tour and workshops adapted to facilitate access and visits for people with disabilities.

ON ARRIVAL / ON SITE

Parking : Two GIG GIC parking spaces are available in the public parking lot in front of the entrance of La Maison de la Vache qui rit, 25 rue Richebourg 39000 Lons-le-Saunier.
You also have the possibility to use the
drop-off
in front of our main blue gate and then park the vehicle further away.

Reception: The reception staff and cultural mediators are trained for disabled visitors.

Dogs accompanying people with disabilities, whatever the type of disability, motor, sensory or mental, and whose owners can prove that the animal has been trained, are of course welcome.

A tour guide, in smartphone format, accompanies you throughout the tour and allows you to discover the history of The Laughing Cow® in a commented way. Access additional content, detailed explanations of the objects on display, and exclusive content that will please the curious, collectors and big fans of The Laughing Cow!
This course is available on a personal smartphone without internet, without application to download and without space limit. If you do not have a smartphone, we can lend you a tablet for the duration of your visit.

The toilets are located on the first floor and are also accessible and adapted for wheelchair access.

An elevator provides access to each floor of the museum.

Finally, there’s a relaxation area where you can quench your thirst and sample Bel products.

(Easy to Read and Understand) accompanied by a third person. This course is available on a personal smartphone without internet, without application to download and without space limit.

Visually impaired: an adapted audio-guide in smartphone format, available from the Maison de la Vache qui rit reception desk, offers
an audiodescription tour
of 40 minutes, as well asa visit in FALC (Facile A Lire et à Comprendre), for visually impaired visitors accompanied by a third party. This course is available on a personal smartphone without internet, without application to download and without space limit.

On the first floor, the pedagogical device consists of manual activities supervised by a mediator.

Hearing impairment: a

in smartphone format, available at the reception desk of The Laughing Cow House, offers a tour of the history of The Laughing Cow® in French Sign Language. This course can be available on a personal smartphone without internet, no application to download and no space limit.
